Stackdule

Terms of use

These terms apply to the Stackdule app and website. By installing or opening the app you agree to them. They sit alongside the store's own terms (Apple's licence agreement or Google Play's terms), and your rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything here.

What Stackdule is

Stackdule is a scheduling diary. It lays out what you enter, on the dates you enter it, and links to published research and commentary so you can read the originals for yourself.

It is educational information only. It gives no medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, dosing instructions or safety determinations, and it is not a medical device. Any decision about your health is yours to make with a qualified professional, and Stackdule is not intended to inform, guide or influence it.

Who it is for

Stackdule is for adults: 18 and over, or the age of adulthood where you live, if that is higher.

Your entries and the figures the app works out

Everything in your diary is what you entered. The few figures the app works out itself (the estimated-levels curve and the changes between readings) are arithmetic on your entries and on published figures such as half-lives. They are estimates, they can be wrong, and they are never a measurement or a test result.

Ranges shown in Readings are the ones printed on your own reports. Where a report printed none, a published figure is shown for reference, with the name of whoever publishes it.

Research and Perspectives

The research index shows records held by PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov and the regulators, and Perspectives shows what independent researchers, clinicians and journalists have published. Stackdule gathers them and links to each original; it does not write or check them. Those sources may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a compound being listed is not a suggestion, an endorsement or a statement about it.

If you published something shown in Perspectives and would like it removed, write to the address below and it will be taken down.

Your data

Your diary is kept on your device. The privacy page sets out what the app keeps, where, and what it fetches.

Paying for Stackdule

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds follow their rules. Whatever happens to a purchase, your diary, readings, backups and CSV files stay yours and stay reachable.

Our responsibility to you

Stackdule is provided with reasonable care and skill, as described on these pages. To the extent the law allows, Stackdule is not responsible for decisions made using the app or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. These terms leave untouched any liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes with it, and the date below changes.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring a claim in your own country's courts.
